How We Evaluate Progress
There are two ways that we monitor the progress of members and non-members. One is through a basic pre-test, which members and non-members are required to take before training sessions. The second is the continuing professional development activities, which is open to members only.
- Basic pre-tests: The basic editorial pre-test is a skills assessment test. Participants are required to take this test before every course they register to attend. This will enable facilitators to evaluate participants’ proficiency in course subjects and assist with their teaching methods. This test is open to both members and non-members.
- Continuing Professional Development Activities (CPD): The continuing professional development (CPD) activities are created to enhance the knowledge, skills and experience of members beyond the structured learning received at workshops. They are part of its assessment process to track and document members’ progress.
