Course Objectives

This course will train participants in the fundamental techniques of editing and improving stories. The course will help participants will gain understanding of the core building blocks of fiction and non-fiction, and work on breaking down strengths and weaknesses.

What will I learn?

By the end of this course, you will be able to do the following:

• gain some line editing experience
• review pieces of fiction and nonfiction with editorial analysis
• identify and evaluate the technical and stylistic choices of a work.
• communicative effectively to the treatment of others’ work.
